Netmation Inc. maintains a data base which generates the indexes you are
able to view on our site. Different from other powerful search engines
on the Internet you only have to provide us with the main web address you
wish to have
included in our data base. You can send us as many as you like within a
single email message, with no more than one per line. Please only register
the top level web pages.
What criteria must my web page meet?
All web pages you submit must have a TITLE and should have a
META Description tag. If the TITLE tag is blank we will not include
your web page since we will not have a name to list it under. Some of our
indexes and reports require a description thus unless you use the
META Description tag we can not gurantee it will appear in the proper listings.
In addition many of our lists are created by searching the META Description
field for keywords.
What is a title and META TAG?
META Tags are hidden text placed in the HEAD section of your HTML
page that are used by most major search engines to index your site
based on your keywords and descriptions. It is very important to use
META Tags as well as a good TITLE if you expect to be found
in most search engines. The following is a sample of what this will
look like.
The placement of these tags is important. They should go in between
the HEAD and /HEAD tags in your html code.
Remember Netmation Data Bases only check for TITLE and the
META Description tags, we currently do not use the Keywords tag.
<HEAD>
<TITLE>Your Web Page Title</TITLE>
<META name="description" content="A one or two sentence
description of your web page goes here.">
<META name="keywords" content="Enter keywords here
separated by commas, to be used by search engines.">
</HEAD>

Do you check for META NAME robots?
Yes! If you have web pages that you do not want search engines
to index, by adding the following META Tag within your header you
can get most search engines to remove the page from their indexes.
Netmation does search for the following tag.
<META name="robots" content="noindex">
|

Do you check META NAME keywords?
No! However many search engines that are trying to index every single
page on the Internet do use this META Tag so it is a good idea to
use it should you be trying to get maximum exposure.
Can I submit a long list of web addresses?
Yes! Feel free to put as many web addresses in your e-mail message.
Only 1 per line though, and do not send a bunch of addresses for every
page on your site. Remember we are only creating indexes of web sites,
not each invidual web page.
How do I get my web page deleted from your indexes?
You can add the Meta Tag Robots and the next time we check on whether your
page is still active it will be removed from our records.
