Tarmon Gai'don - A Wheel of Time MUD. Features information on guilds, immortals, and rules.

Realms of Discordia - A role-playing MUD with original areas, spells, and races.

Battle of Barbarians - Fantasy roleplaying mud called Ancient Times. Provides detailed history and player related resources.

Fatal Dimensions - A European-based MUD offering a nice mix of stock and original areas, cool coding, and lots of nifty features. It has been online since August of 1996.

Ages of Darkness - Based on the widely-known Terry Goodkind Sword of Truth series. All areas are original, restricted PK, and clan system. "Newbie" friendly and challenging for the advanced mudder.

Aeternity - Features 10 professions with 33 specializations, 20 player races, over 100 different skills and over 400 different creatures at the outset.

The Demons Gate - A pure fantasy role-playing environment (though role-playing isn't required). Features include a complex combat system with new detailed critical hits, detailed npcs, quests, guilds and clubs. The mud is divided into a number of variously themed domains. The player must balance killing with questing to be successful.

MoonGate Online - Website for the Realm of Alyria, a high fantasy-themed MUD. The site contains extensive information for the beginner, and also has player reviews, a FAQ and direct telnet links.

The Dragon's Den - One of the oldest continuously operating MUDs around. LP-style MUD, running under MudOS and their own Dragon Mudlib.

AlexMUD - The ongoing story of the Kingdom of Ardenia and its fight to survive in the face of enemies on all sides. Fantasy-based MUD with a revamped combat system and a unique skill/spell system.

Utopia MUD - A MUD with real-time chat, puzzles, quests, and a huge virtual world to explore.

Abysmal Realms - Fantasy adventure game with fully customizable characters. Website contains information about areas, clans, classes, immortals and races.

Valheru MUD - Real-time dungeons-and-dragons-style mudding in a fantasy based world. For both beginning and experienced mudders. Parts of the game are playable for free, however to play the full version, a donation is required.

Zoj the Dreamweaver - Member of the Psion Guild at Threshold. Contains information about the Psion Guild, dryads, and resoures.
